You can search our directory by state, city, court and area of specialisation to look up advocates practising in your area. Listings show the advocate’s own disclosures: qualifications, Bar Council registration, practice areas, courts and office location.

Every listing is reviewed by our admin team to confirm that the Bar Council registration details appear genuine. This is a factual check, not an endorsement — iamadvocate.in makes no claim about any advocate’s competence or suitability for your matter.

If a listing is relevant to you, you can submit a consultation request from the profile. The advocate decides, at their own discretion, whether to respond. iamadvocate.in is not a party to any arrangement between you and an advocate.

Register once and get two things in one app: a free informational listing in the directory, and a full practice-management toolkit — case tracker, hearing calendar, 200+ ready-to-use legal drafts, client ledger and payment tracker.

Paid plans buy you more capacity for the practice-management tools (more clients, more cases, more articles). They do not buy prominence, ranking advantage or promotional positioning in the directory — every listing in the directory is presented on identical terms, regardless of the advocate’s plan:

• Solo (₹7,500/year) — for solo advocates. Unlimited cases, clients and articles (up to 100/year), phone/WhatsApp/email shown on your listing, priority support.
• Chambers (₹15,000/year) — for Senior Advocates running a chamber with juniors. Everything in Solo plus 10 team seats, invite associates by email, assign cases to specific team members, delegate tasks with deadlines, track per-associate performance, chamber-wide client payment ledger, cash reconciliation, per-case financial privacy controls, and cross-chamber workspace support.

You remain in full control of your listing: hide it, edit it or remove it at any time from your dashboard. We never represent you to visitors, and we never solicit work on your behalf.

iamadvocate.in is free for the public. Looking up advocates in the directory, viewing listings and submitting a consultation request does not cost visitors anything. There is no premium visitor tier and no per-contact charge.

For advocates, the only money paid to us is the annual practice-management subscription (Solo ₹7,500/year, or Chambers ₹15,000/year for Senior Advocates with a team). We do not take any commission, success fee, percentage or referral cut from the fees an advocate charges their client. Any fee negotiated between an advocate and their client is 100% theirs.

iamadvocate.in is an information directory and practice-management application. We are not a law firm, not a marketplace, not a lead broker and not a middleman in any client-advocate arrangement. Any engagement, fees, retainer or scope of work is entirely between the visitor and the advocate.

Every advocate profile is reviewed before publication. We ensure that only genuine, practising advocates appear on the platform. This protects both the public seeking legal help and the advocates building their reputation.
